Creating project documentation. Ongoing customer engagement when developing a product using Agile. Use of BIM and VDC during the life of the project both at the design and construction stages. The first project using VDS technologies in Ukraine. Having a unique experience and product, the client has chosen to scale technologies to a portfolio of projects.
HOW DOES IT WORK
• Creation of the project content used only in BIM tools;
• Training and support for all project stakeholders throughout the project;
• BIM content creation, in accordance with the global requirements for information exchange (ISO 19650);
• Planning and implementation of VDC activities according to the Singapore VDC Guide;
• Using the BIM models as a single source of data;
• Use and implementation of Common Data Environmental (CDE, BIM360 Docs) for document management and quality control;
• Team distribution according to the principle “1 project – 1 team” (including BIM coordinators, VDC specialists, and site supervisors);
• Preparation and use of BIM models on the construction site;
• Organization of the coordination meetings using data visualization based on BIM models (including VR use) for quick problem solving and planning;
• Use of drones and 360° photos to fixation the fact of work completed and reporting;
• Adaptation of models for construction needs (detailed 3D views, sections, etc.)
• Activity management using Agile methodology;
RESULTS & ACHIEVEMENTS
• Creation of project documentation for 40,000 square meters in a record 7 months;
• The world experience of international design bureaus is involved;
• Consideration of the location of buildings in a format information park, district, city;
• Use only innovative practices that allow the customer to obtain a LEED Silver Certificate on one building and the opportunity to obtain a LEED GOLD Certificate;
• CDE is a tool for the exchange of documentation and BIM content between participants in the design and construction process. Availability of actual data on the site;
• BIM models were used as a data source for procurement and tendering;
• Implementation of the practice of using BIM kiosks, which are placed at each site as a place for obtaining and analyzing actual data for construction;
• Construction based on BIM models and 4D work planning for subcontractors;
