◆ VR. However, mainly, for sales purposes and, unfortunately, not yet for engineering, design review and coordination.
◆ MagiCAD. There is only one company, in my opinion, that is dealing with real integrated #engineering of MEP, included analyzes, schematics, modeling and integration with CSA.
◆ Plant operators start using BIM models and VR for training operators and maintenance people.
◆ A lot of local CAD software developers who are improving their functionality in respect to BIM. However, it helps to solve only limited needs and lacking in integrate.
CONCLUSION
◆ Nothing about integrated BIM, a lot of different things, which is difficult to talk about in a proper way. Every software supplier gets its piece of cake.
◆ Lacking of proper BIM data for future usage during construction and operation.
◆ Not much about using BIM during construction, maximum issues.
So, there is a lot of work to improve the #AEC #industry, make it digital and use these buildings and assets data during the project lifestyle. #TEBIN is on the right track!
